In the early hours of the morning, inside the palace of Prince Faisal, in the mountain resort of Taif, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud (Ibn Saud), founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, died. He died with Prince Faisal at his side.
In true Muslim tradition, his body was wrapped in a simple shroud and buried in an unmarked grave in Riyadh.
